I just wanted to draw a pony version of Johnny Depp characters...First one is my most favorite Sweeney Todd. <3
If I have enough energy or it's popular enough, i'll do 5 more. I'll make Depp Mane Six. =w=
He would be a unicorn. (there will be two unicorn, two pegasi, and two earth ponies, probably)

One of the things I do like about this is the shape of the line and shadow, BUT. I think that some concepts should be left as they are, for an example sweeney todd. And especially if you ponify it, it made me lose faith before I even got to the amazing linage and shading. and lost me entirely at originality. the concept is nice for people who like it, but to the large percent of others it's almost (please don't take this the wrong way) unoriginal. you need to expand a little more.
HOWEVER I understand the concept of "ponify" just try and ponify things that look good ponified. sweeney todd is a very dark tale about murder and cannibalism, my little ponies is about ponies and friendship.
personaly I'd rather you'd ponify something a little less macabre.

I love Sweeney Todd, both the movie and the original Broadway musical, and I've always wanted to see a pony version of him that truly reflects his character. His cutie mark is what I really love about this piece of artwork. The broken heart symbolizes his hardship and hopeless, broken love for Lucy and Johanna, and the fact that it appears to be made from blood shows that he would kill as many as it would take to have his "reason and his life" back. I also enjoy your style and how it is somewhat different than the style of the show; the frame of the character has a less childish look to it, and the shading on the face and darkness around the eyes adds a much more dramatic feel.
